     It all started back in the summer of '05.  That is when I would hop on my Mongoose mountain bike and ride from my home in Dogtown to my work, the Ballys in Clayton.  It was a nice ride.  I really enjoyed going down the big hill on Skinker and coming back up wasn't too bad either.  That was when I first started biking to work.    

    For well over four years now I have been commuting on my bike to and from work whenever it is convenient. Whether it was going to the office or the gym.  I always thought it was an efficient way to commute and that it would help keep me in shape, save a little coin, and cut down on pollution. 

     For the month of September I decided to keep track of the amount commuting I do on the bike.  The result is to see how much gas I save, how much money I save in the process, and the reduction in my carbon footprint.
